 Dee C. Marshall 

 A sought-after international speaker, published author, certified coach, Dee C. Marshall is CEO at Diverse & Engaged and recently named Top 25 Most Influential Black Women in Business by The Network Journal and Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs. Dee C. Marshall is a Wall Street alumna, former corporate executive, and a contributor to Essence Magazine, Black Enterprise, The New York Times and others. Prior to launching Diverse & Engaged Dee Marshall spent over twelve years working on Wall Street in training and management and organizational development for Merrill Lynch, Prudential Securities, Moody’s Investor Services and The New York Times.

She is a respected authority for high-ranking, high-profile, high-level women. Dee has coached the First Lady of Bermuda and was called upon by the Premier of Bermuda to work with the top women leaders of the country. Dee a genius in leveraging new media, establishing a community service movement in the height of the recession by leveraging social media that grew to a network of over 200k members in three countries and in over 25 U.S. markets.

Dee is a subject matter expert on diversity, equity and inclusion who curates opportunities to address lack of diversity in workplaces and common spaces. Her company provides services to major corporations to assist with strategy, programs and initiatives to support inclusion, workplace culture, learning and development goals.

Dee is a survivor and go-to on career transitions and reinvention. Prior to launching her diversity consulting practice, she built her credibility coaching through career transitions as a result of her own journey down 33 flights of stairs at One New York Plaza on September 11th after witnessing the terrorists attack on the World Trade Center. 

She is a mobilizer and community influencer. During the Obama Administration, Dee was an influential leader tapped to partner with White House Office on Faith-Based initiatives and was subsequently invited to partner with First Lady Michelle Obama on the Let’s Move Initiative.

Marshall has given of her time and talent to several major nonprofit organizations, including the Board of Directors for the YWCA Central New Jersey, the Women’s Center for Education and Career Advancement New York, the Board of Advisors for Rutgers Small Business Development Center, The New York Women’s Foundation, and others. She is a United Way New York Linkages Board Fellow, a Google Tech Policy Fellow, a certified credentialed Coach and a graduate of the distinguished Skinner Leadership Institute. As a result of her service to women, she has received numerous awards that include United States of Women Nominated Change Maker, NAACP Community Service Award, Delta Sigma Theta Women of Achievement Award, and many more. 

Alfred A. Edmond Jr.

Alfred Edmond Jr., The Successpert, is an unabashed, vocal evangelist of the habits and behaviors that produce four things: financial fitness, physical fitness, mental fitness and relationship fitness. He is best known as an award-winning business journalist, editor and media executive with Black Enterprise. Edmond is a widely recognized expert on personal finance, entrepreneurship, mentorship, leadership development and the practical application of faith in daily living. He is also known for his A Grown Man KnowsTM content on the values and behaviors of responsible, life- affirming manhood, which has garnered enthusiastic appreciation on social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook. 

 

A native of Long Branch, NJ, Edmond appears regularly on television and nationally syndicated radio. A graduate of Rutgers University (and a member of its Hall of Distinguished Alumni), Edmond is a highly sought-after public speaker, live-event interviewer and moderator, and is passionate about the impact that relationship choices have on business, career and financial success. 

 

Together with his wife and business partner, personal growth expert and individuality advocate Zara D. Green, Edmond leads A2Z Personal Growth Enterprises, the parent company of Grown Zone Relationship Education (GrownZone.com). Edmond and Green are also co-authors of the book Loving In The Grown Zone: A No-Nonsense Guide to Making Healthy Decisions in the Quest for Loving, Romantic Relationships of Honor, Esteem and Respect (Balboa Press, LovingintheGrownZone.com).

Edmond is passionate about health and fitness, and believes they are foundational to business, financial and life success. A natural bodybuilder, he competes as a member of the Drug Free Athletes Coalition (DFAC) and was a member of Team USA at the 2017 and 2018 DFAC World Finals in the amateur bodybuilder 50-plus Masters class. In 2019, Edmond earned his first bodybuilding pro card as 40+ Masters member of the Organization of Competition Bodies (OCB).
